The role of fire retardant coatings

Non-intumescent fire retardant coatings are mainly used for fire protection of wood, fiberboard and other board materials, and are used on wooden roof trusses, ceilings, doors and windows and other surfaces.

Intumescent fire-retardant coatings include non-toxic intumescent fire-retardant coatings, emulsion-type intumescent fire-retardant coatings, and solvent-based intumescent fire-retardant coatings.

Non-toxic intumescent fire retardant coatings can be used as fire retardant coatings or fire retardant putties to protect cables, polyethylene pipes and insulating panels.

Emulsion-based intumescent fire-retardant coatings and solvent-based intumescent fire-retardant coatings can be used for fire protection of buildings, electricity and cables.
